If you’re blogging about God and faith, with the quiet and secret intention, motive and desire to receive followers, likes, messages and reblogs; then all you have written is empty, meaningless and wasted. Doing this does not please God at all, as the glory isn’t for Him…….
I personally believe this is ridiculous. From this point of view I walk more than I read my bible so I should stop walking and spend more time with God.
No. God knows your heart. If YOU feel it’s a conviction apart from some silly self righteous blog post then go for it. God will bless you in that obedience.
If you feel guilty because a popular (who according to their own post should shut it down) blog guilt tripped you, no.
I agree that we should spend time, morning and night, in study of the bible and prayer. We should devote our lives to him. However if our blog keeps our minds focused on him, and if our hearts delight in another follower to encourage and inspire and if we look forward to sharing God on the interwebs then please enlighten me on what is wrong with this.
